True to our name, Legacy Male Health strives to protect men’s legacies by supporting their reproductive system health. Led by a doctor who is one of the world’s foremost authorities in vasectomy reversal, our neighbors in Frisco and across the greater Houston, Texas area can trust our reproductive and sexual health services. In fact, we are so trusted that other exceptional peers and physicians from around the globe refer their valued patients to Dr. Jeffrey P. Buch. This validates the quality of our care, and we are privileged to serve our local communities.

What are the conditions that you commonly treat?
Legacy Male Health primarily focuses on vasectomy reversal and low testosterone/erectile dysfunction treatments. In turn, we have had great success helping men achieve their goals for a family following a previous vasectomy or male sterilization procedure. We also help men with a range of symptoms that can affect their sexual health, satisfaction, and intimacy, as well as their overall quality of life. We have highly accurate diagnostic services to identify Low T and the source of conditions like ED. With this information in hand, we can make the most appropriate recommendations for treatment.
What are the odds that my vasectomy reversal will be successful?
In general, we have a very high success rate of 99% for the return of sperm following your procedure. We have even had success in “redoing” vasectomy reversals performed at other offices. However, any factors that affect the quantity and/or quality of sperm can also affect the success of vasectomy reversal. These factors include:
- The length of time between the vasectomy procedure and the reversal
- The type of vasectomy or technique that was originally used to perform your surgery
- Your age
- Your overall health
- Your lifestyle and personal habits, such as smoking, vaping, and alcohol use
Your “progress” may be tracked by analyzing elements such as the number, motility (movement), morphology (shape), and overall quality of sperm. Such insights help to guide the next steps forward to optimize the chance of conceiving a child following vasectomy reversal.
How does Low T affect my sperm?
Since testosterone plays such an important role in the health and function of the reproductive organs, low levels of this hormone are associated with low sperm counts. Low testosterone (Low T) can also be associated with symptoms such as erectile dysfunction (ED) and a decreased sex drive. Other symptoms beyond reproductive and sexual health alone range from mental health disturbances (such as depression) to difficulties with concentrating and memory impairment, and a decrease in muscle strength, mass, and endurance.
How do you treat Low T and ED?
Treatments start by first understanding the true nature of the problem and its underlying causes. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle can be helpful to keep your testosterone levels in check. Testosterone replacement therapy is not done when fertility is needed. In such cases, oral medications such as Clomid or injectable medication such as HCG can promote a healthy balance of hormones in the body and also promote fertility. If Low T is to blame for your ED, the same approaches already listed here may apply. When medications fail to get results, Dr. Buch may discuss vacuum constriction devices that have an up to 70% success rate. Still other treatments include the GAINSWave™, a nonsurgical system that uses acoustic energy or sound waves to improve blood flow and support firm and sustained erections.
